When 20-year-old Noah Cyrus performed “This Is Us” with Jimmie Allen on the CTM Awards stage while donning a nude bodysuit, she startled a lot of fans.
Everything was on show in the risqué bodysuit, which had a bikini top and a rhinestone G-string to hide her privates. She accessorized the ensemble with a cowgirl hat, thigh-high boots, and white gloves that reached her elbows.
Many fans of the CMT Awards were not impressed by Noah’s clothing choice.
“I apologize, but the clothing you wore on CMT was inappropriate. That CMT permitted it disappointed me. Perhaps she didn’t know she was Cher. Just saying,” a user commented.
“Confused by the Jimmie Allen and Noah Cyrus performance on the CMT awards last night!” said another commenter. She is not a country, to start! And was the clothing she was wearing okay?
“My dad and I found true millennial/boomer middle ground tonight in discussing whether or not Noah Cyrus’s CMT Awards Performance outfit was appropriate for the time,” another commenter stated. Furthermore, by “finding middle ground,” I mean that we both decided—we just didn’t know.”
“Someone go change Noah Cyrus’s clothes,” I said. Someone else said, “This is CMT. We don’t roll like that.”
“Looks like Noah Cyrus missed the memo that the CMT Awards are not the same as the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show,” said a second comment. I can’t even begin to imagine how disgusting and disgusting her “costume” was. I’m pleading with God above that she never gets to perform with CMT musicians again.
Someone said, “That was embarrassing to watch, and the outfit isn’t appropriate for country music.”
Many people complained that by allowing Noah to perform in the costume, the CMT Awards had lost some of its devoted following.
Some of her followers, on the other hand, thought the attire was great, with one commenting, “That outfit is gorgeous.” Never listen to anyone who suggests different.
Another added, “Flawless as always,” and a third said, “You’re a queen, I hope you know that.”
